4th Grade Math

This year I learned how to decompose fractions, do long division, and how to multiply 2 digit by 2 digit. My favorite part of this year was an M&M project we did. My least favorite part of this year was learning how to change mixed numbers to improper fractions and improper fractions into mixed numbers. My strengths this year were long division and and finding equivalent fractions. My weaknesses were changing gallons to pints or feet to yards, my other weakness was decimals.

I think 5th grade math might be challenging and difficult but I think I will enjoy it. I would like to learn more about measuring angles, adding and subtracting fractions, and finding equivalent fractions.

So Long 4th Grade

The most important thing I learned was to try your hardest in everything and anything, push your self to the limit. My favorite project was completing the circuit. I was most surprised when Mr. McBride jumped into Mrs. McCurdy’s room and scared us half to death! The thing I disliked most was when it kept raining and raining and we could not go to the playground.

Happy Mother’s Day

My mom taught me how to swing when I was 4. So I said, “Mom don’t let go of me”. But next thing I knew she was in front of me. She said, “You’re swinging” , and I said, “It’s not that scary after all”. “Thank you for teaching me”, I said.
