American Flag
I think Betsy Ross made the first American flag, because she owned an upholstery business, therefore she would be fit for the job. Another reason I think Betsy made the flag is because most theories you read about Betsy making the flag talks about how much easier it is to make a six pointed star, but she could easily make a five pointed star. I don’t think Francis Hopkinson could have made it that easily. I also think because Gorge Washington was her uncle she would have been asked immediately. That is why I believe Betsy Ross made the flag.

Thanksgiving
Oh! How terrible Thanksgiving was last year. I spent two whole weeks in the hospital with my sister while she was getting Chemo Therapy. Her port was infected and she was sick. All I did was stay inside the hospital. Luckily it was Childrens Hospital in Dallas,so there was a couple things to do.
When Thanksgiving came we had it in the hospital. The food was surprisingly good, they had turkey, ham, stuffing, veggies, and much more.
Having Thanksgiving at the hospital made me notice how lucky I actually made me notice how lucky we are. There were kids without hair, and some looked like they had not eaten in two years! And my sister still looked just fine.So actually it was not so terrible. It just made me more aware of how thankful I should be.
